We were staying at a hotel on Belleair beach and found this place online. It seemed like a cute hole in the wall with good reviews. There were definitely a lot of locals eating here who were familiar with the wait staff. Our waitress was very very quick and the food was good. We got french toast and eggs benedict with a side of nice crispy bacon. Did not disappoint.

Excellent! Favorite place in the area. Visited over Labor Day and again at the Holidays. Both visits were wonderful. Great food, great service and friendly staff. Brenda made us feel right at home.

This place is so local, that a lot of locals don't even know about it. The service is excellent, and the food is also. Great place to bring the family, it's like eating at Gramma's house, feels like you're at home.

I love this cafe! We eat breakfast here every time we are in town. The food is fresh and delicious. Frankly, the best Eggs Benedict I have ever had. I don't order anything else. The staff is friendly and courteous but the best part is Donna! We hit it off from the start and she is the reason we come. You will be not disappointed.

Well, well, well. I had seen this place pop up on my Yelp searches since moving to Belleair several months ago, but never could find it. Then as my husband and I were looking at homes in Belleair Bluffs we pulled out onto Indian Rocks road from Jewel Road and there it was! We visited the very next day. Hubby had chicken soup which he said was very good and also the eggs benedict. I opted for the Carb Free option offered - how nice to see this as a choice! His eggs were perfectly poached and smothered in a definitely home made hollandaise sauce. His plate also included a huge serving of roasted baby red potatoes instead of the usual hashbrowns and a bit of fruit. My plate had two beautifully poached eggs, sausage, and a generous portion of fresh fruits. The coffee was really good, both iced and hot. Our server Donna was terrific - friendly, cheerful & helpful. I can see why Jerry G. has followed her for years! I thought prices were about right for the high quality of the food. The interior is intended to look like a tea room, and I understand you can actually reserve the place for "high tea" parties. We opted for the patio which was casual, clean and inviting. We could have sat out there all day, and we just may do that one of these Saturday mornings...

The food is just OK. My Eggs Benedict had the thinnest "Canadian bacon" I've ever encountered (more like a piece of thin sliced sandwich meat than the usual thick piece). The sauce didn't influence the flavor much at all. What made the place special was the people... The waitress instantly connects with you and makes you feel like they care and are interested in you as a person. I think everyone else in the room were regulars as they all greeted each other as they entered. The decor includes lots of teapots and has a bit of a grandma's house kind of feel. The AC is not turned up very high compared to most FL places. If the food matched the people and look, then I could become a regular as we'll, but as it stands, I don't really care if I return or not.

Hard to believe that I haven't reviewed this local "Jewel". I've been going to The Jewell Cafe for 10 years, mainly for breakfast. It's located off Indian Rocks Rd North of West Bay Dr on Jewel Rd. The breakfasts are solid here, not the most inexpensive in the area, but good quality. For some reason I always get the Egg Sandwich on a Croissant. A fluffy croissant with two eggs bacon and cheese. Of course you have a choice of breakfast meats and cheese. Like all the breakfast items they come with a choice of ( excellent ) home fries or grits. I also have had their Eggs Benedict, which is spot on. My last lunch there was a Tomato Melt with Bacon and a cup of soup for $6.45. They served it onTexas Toast, good value. You will be greeted by IMHO, the best, and hardest working server in the area, Donna. I've known Donna for15 years and she is the greatest. I've followed her in all her work travels, the past 10 years here at The Jewel Cafe. Wonderful woman. A unique feature here at The Jewel Cafe areTea Parties, afternoon HighTea Parties that the ladies dress up for with their dresses and long gloves. Scones, mini sandwiches, etc, are served by reservation only. Something different for the ladies. FYI, they were just awarded their 2nd Perfect 10 award by TV station WTSP for having a perfect inspection by the health Dept.
